Wyon were produced to commemorate the reopening of the Royal Exchange in 1844 (BHM 2185 at 73mm and BHM 2186 at 28mm). Although both of the examples below are silver, the surfaces of the first were frosted and the medal encased in a silver ring with glass lunettes.
