hiatus67
I've recently bought an austrian kreuzer from 1859. I want to know what it means the "B" letter that it is under the year? Other coins have "A", "E" or other letters.
ccg
They refer to the mint that the coin was made at. For Austrian-Hungarian kreuzers: A = Vienna, Austria B = Kremnitz, Hungary E = Karlsburg, Transylvania M = Milan, Lombardy (Italy) V = Venice (Italy)
