coinhunter
I am trying to locate a Poland silver coin that would be in the 38mm diameter, the year date is not important as long as it is silver from 70 to 90%. Have tried looking for a good web site with pictures but could not find one. Would any know of a web site location? thank you
cracovia
Hi all, Recent years 20 zlotys, silver commemoratives are .925 silver and have 38.6 mm diameter.
sturzny
The modern Polish silver coins in a crown-sized format that I am familiar with are non-circulating commemoratives. The most common one is probably the 1990 "Solidarity" 100000 Zlotych which you can occasionally find for sale on eBay. For coins that actually circulated as currency you would have to go back quite a ways - the 10 Zlotych coins of the 1930's were not quite crown-sized. Probably have to go back to the Russo-Polish 10 Zloty (mid 19th century) which many consider to be more Russian coins than Polish.
