Kyle!
What year did Canada stop putting Silver/Copper into there coins? I was just wondering this, because I will start saving them. Because the price of silver is getting higher. What coins did they put silver in? The Dime, Quarter, and 50 cent piece. (P.S Do they put 100% nickel into "Nickel's"? Or if not when did they stop. KoRnholio
www.coinflation.com/canada Will answer all your questions. I've only ever found a couple silver coins in circulation ever, so it's pretty unlikely you will find many if any. I know of some people who were setting aside the 100% nickel nickels (pre 1982 I believe) when nickel's price peaked last year along with precious metals. At that time the old 100% nickel nickels were worth about 3x their face value for melt. Currently it's only about 1.1x the face value.
