28Plain Posted July 29, 2005 Report Share Posted July 29, 2005 Sold 1837 half cent token identified in the Redbook (bottom of page 82 in the '05 edition) as the single half cent token issued in that year with the reverse legend: "One Hlaf Cent Worth of Pure Copper".. This is the one that the Whitman half cent book has a space for. My estimate is high VF, to EF. 38-40-ish. Sorry, but I don't know of any guidelines published for grading this issue.
