Hussulo
Very interesting. "The 1943 bronze Lincoln cent really transcends a wrong planchet error," So there can't be many about. An error coin really but one which cent collectors would love to add to their collection I'm sure.
LostDutchman
I had the opportunity to spend a little time with this particular coin at the ANA. Great coin and great a great story to boot. Where was it? I would have drooled over it had I seen it. And what a great story of the man and his circulation collection. Tanks for sharing! LostDutchman
I just happened to notice it by itself in one of the cases towards the value section... stopped and looked at it for a bit... cool piece.

Oh, so it wasn't featured in the exhibits or anything? K. glad I didn't miss something obvious.
just carl
Nice story. I've got seveal of them. Unfortunately all mine are attracted to a magnet. But sure look real. I wonder how many are really out there. Same with the other odd balls like the 44 Steel Cent, the 74 Aluminum, the 59 wheat back, etc.
