Can anyone tell me please what are approximate prices nowadays for these coins in AU/MS:

25 Kopeek, 1829-ПГ (Uzd. 1527, Julian 570 ... "wings down" type)

25 Kopeek, 1858-ФБ (Uzd. 1745, Julian 614 ... type of 1832-1858 -- not pattern coin!)

25 Kopeek, 1859-ФБ (Uzd. 1757, Julian 628 ... type of 1858-1885)

Thank you! :ninja:

According to Russian stats on http://tsovin.ru/coins

25 Kopeek, 1829-HГ in XF+ is about 500 to 600 US

25 Kopeek, 1858-ФБ in AU is on somewhere between 150 - 200 US

25 Kopeek, 1859-ФБ in AU is on average ~200 US but went as high as 350 and 700 US

It’s a fun site to play with!

Thanks ... but there seem to be some bugs in that web site! When I enter "1858" and "AU", when I click on one of the auctions I see totally different things ... e.g. roubles or poltinas, different years, etc. ... everything except what I am looking for! :ninja:

Therefore, I cannot trust these prices, unfortunately.

The only links in the list that seem to work for me are the Volmar auctions ... all the Konros auctions are all mixed up!

Oh, you mean the individual auction links. No they don't work. I guess they expired. Looks like they were stored at the time of auction completion, along with the other data, but links expire. Still fun to look at how many coins of a certain variety were sold, overall condition and prices. For example since 2002 Russian auctions sold 25 of 50 kopeeks from 1910 and 25 from 1914, but only 10 from 1907 and most were in poor condition, so that makes me feel better about the one I've got :ninja:

Like I said a fun site!

Hello to everybody.

Let me add to this topic a bit.

1. Yes, it's "fun to play" with this site - but mostly it is possible to retrieve information

only about some "mass" auctions - as Conros, Wolmar.

These auctions mostly present not so high quality coins; besides they tend to highly

overgrade.

So "XF+" in the description of Wolmar may actually be VF+ (as in most case is)...

Therefore searching these auctions results without seeing actual coin image is useless.

2. IMHO, actual market (more or less fair) value of coins in question is

25 Kopeek, 1829-HГ in real AU/UNC is more likely to start at approx. $1,000 (last time -

if I didn't miss anything - sold in MS62 in "Alexander's" auction 3 months ago at $2,200

- and now this very coin is offered on "Molotok" at $2,900....)

25 Kopeek, 1858-ФБ AU/UNC - I agree: $150~$200-220; for "BU" or "P/L" some people

are eager to pay a high premium - I recorded $560 highest price paid...

25 Kopeek, 1859-ФБ - about same (though 25-1859 Bit131 "with mantle" variety sells

a little bit higher); with $870 highest..
