Ok, so here is the deal. My friends poor storage skills can get you some old hard to find rolls at affordable prices.

Anyway, my friend is selling his collection, and after several months we have gotten to the wheat cent rolls his father collected over the years. These were stored in a basement, in obviously damp conditions and the coins show his mistake. The rolls are Unc, no doubt about that, but nearly every coin has some gunk on the rim, and some on the faces of the coins. Use the photos to judge the damage and to assert a value, these are an "as is" sale. These are not worth the prices of Unc rolls because of this funky gunk problem, but many coins are still nice within the rolls.

He is looking to get around $80 shipped for the lot of (14) rolls (1958-P gunked roll added) Any reasonable offer will be entertained. If these rolls were clean Unc the 42-S alone would be worth quite a lot, but they are not clean, so...yeah....offer away.

This is a 14 roll lot:

I've had several people asking me about these rolls being checked for anything, and to answer: No, they have not. These were in the old style tubes, the thin plastic ones with a cap on either end and were so old I had to literally peel the plastic away to get the coins out for the photos. They have NOT been checked, only photographed and placed in new tubes.

We've gotten a few offers so far but have been a little less than what he looking for. Please PM with your offers and any questions. Thanks!

I found a roll of 1958-P Unc (gunked) that I will be adding to the rolls, making a total of 14 rolls.

He is looking to get $80 or so shipped for this lot, but because of condition is willing to work out a reasonable deal. Please PM if you have any questions of counter-offers.

Thanks.
