Guest Aidan Work
How does one go about adding in currency signs such as the Pound sign? It is easy to add in the Dollar sign - $. Aidan.
Sir Sisu
I guess it depends on the layout of your keyboard. For me I get the £ symbol by holding down the "AltGr" key to the right of the space bar and then press number "3" key. For the € symbol, same thing except instead of the "3" one can use either the "5" key or then the "E" key.
akdrv
Try Alt+0163 for £ and Alt+0128 for €

For instance on my keyboard you get the following; Shift+3 = £ Shift+4 = $ Ctrl+Alt+4 = € (AltGr+4 also works)

Guest Aidan Work
Keyboards in New Zealand have # above the number 3.There is no way I would be able to add in the Pound sign without the use of a programme. The keyboard is a standard QWERTY one. Aidan.
Ætheling
We have # under ~ Don't you just love these globally standard keyboards?
Trantor_3
indeed. we have a trainee student at work, who has a russian girl friend. She was in the Netherlands for a couple of weeks and one day she was at our work, to do some translation into russian for us. That was already decided when she still was in russia, so she brought her own key board..... speaking of standardization......
