Mehku
I was going through my change today and I found a worn-down buffalo nickel. As I was looking at it's reverse, I noticed a very strange error that I have never seen before. The rim of the coin looks like one big cud, cutting the buffalo's tail and hind foot off and cutting all the the letters in half. But what really baffled me is that upon closer inspection I could see the very faint cut off es in states, of in of, and a in America. And there is a very definitive mark that cuts the letters in half. I have no idea what this is. My camera is not good at taking coin photos, so I did my best to draw the coin in paint. Don't make fun of my inablility to draw in paint shop . If anybody has the slightest clue as to what this is, I would really appreciate your info. Thanks for looking! -Mehku
