Fred_in_Lexington
Can anyone tell me about a token that appears to be scrip from the British East India Company, and is dated 1808. Any estimates of value are appreciated (condition is fair).
YeOldeCollector
Do you have any photos/scans? All the best, Clive.
elverno
Is it: X Cash or XX Cash ?? These were recovered from the wreck of the Admiral Gardner. Fairly common and should be in UNC, especially the X cash.

Fred_in_Lexington
Sorry not to attach a scan; I don't appear to have permission to do so. But your X Cash example is exactly correct.
elverno
XF is supposedly worth $45 in Krause, dropping off to $6 for VF. If you spend much more than $5 plus shipping you should probably keep looking. These were salvaged from barrels sealed in wax, hence they never had an opportunity to circulate at all. I think Krause is way over-priced.
