akdrv Posted May 14, 2007 Report Share Posted May 14, 2007 MARTINSBURG — The longstanding observance of Mother’s Day could be further commemorated with a coin designed to honor the holiday and its founder, a West Virginia woman. The West Virginia Legislature resolved earlier this year to request the minting of a Mother’s Day commemorative coin, which recently turned into federal legislation introduced last week by U.S. Rep.
