VSM
I hope somebody can help me. I have recently found a 2006 Nevada Quarter with a 'P' mint mark. The front looks normal, but the entire BACK (with the Nevada design) is actually a bronze/copper color, similar to the dark sliver in the rim of the quarter. I assume this is a fairly unusual mint mistake, but I have heard of nothing similar (I am new to this forum). Can anyone give me some info on the history of this mistake, and an idea of its potential value? Thanks, VSM
Becky
If there is any way you can post a nice pic of this coin, it would really help. It might be missing the clad on that side, or it may be toned.
