Guest Aidan Work Posted September 20, 2006 Report Share Posted September 20, 2006 I recently bought a $5 note from Quebec that was issued by the Bank of Montreal in 1935,in an auction over here in New Zealand for NZ$60 + G.S.T.,commission & postage.I am very pleased,as this is my first chartered banknote from anywhere in Canada. The signatories are W.A. Hog & C.B. Gordon. Can anyone please provide us with the prices in Pick Specialised (US$) & in Charlton (C$),& the catalogue numbers from both these 2 books? Aidan. The note in question was graded by the auctioneer as Fine condition.When it came,I showed it to my boss,who examined it & graded it as being in V.F. condition.
