Dave, those are magnificent. I am always amazed that notes survive such a long time. What a great set of notes, well done.
-
Thanks.
Yeah I will when I get a chance. Been just crazy busy this week. I'll have to fix the scan too. I must've had my laptop monitor at the wrong angle. the scan is darker than the note itself is. I should have all 13 posted here by the weeks end though.
Good to hear. I look forward to it.
In the mean time, from Costa Rica a very colourful note.

Nice notes Dave, I have never noticed the dragons on the Vietnam note before and the sheep peeping out on the Scottish one. What have you started collecting Animals notes now.

Does anyone know how how Hansatsu were printed? What was the paper of choice and how were the images made?
Thank you,

Did you try looking upi: Latvia 1863 "Borsen-Bank"
-
Rare and Ugly.
It is not German rather a Russian occupation note of Latvia. It looks like to be the 1863 seal for the Rigaer Bank. This would be Latvia P-A1 in the SCWPM General issue. But I could be wrong.

Hey guys, I'm reading this topic and find latest post about Polish "notes".
They are not a legal tender, they are only a souvenir of : Bieszczadzki Park Narodowy for example.
Price for 12 Orlikow is 12 Zlotych but they don't have any value, even in park
Yes, Advertisment notes, was not sure of if they had value in park. Good examples from the Polish Security Printing Works

Those are great finds. I love Hansatsu notes. Many of them have animals pictured on them. I see them for sale but I don’t know enough about them to know if they are real. How do you tell?

Nice finds

Very nice notes and quite interesting. Are they notes "legal tender"?
I think they are only "legal tender" at the parks. They come with a nice presentation envelope and pamphlet and in one section it says for example: 12 Orlikow = 12 Zlotych. But my Polish is only as good as Google Translate,
