One thing you must know when selling things for CP dollars... make them kind of expensive. As CP members are receiving an "allowance" and not working for their CP Dollars, at least for a while until all 5,000 Dollars are out, it's hard to spend wisely. For example the cheapest thing in my shop... a 50 Intis.... is 3 CP Dollars. Nothing should go for just 1 CP Dollar.

First of all, there is no direct correlation between any "real" currency and a CP dollar. I don't expect anyone to be selling something worth $50 for CP Dollars. CP Dollars are "backed" by the knowledge that there is exactly 5,000 CP Dollars out there between members. All I have is an inkjet printer... but to tell you the truth, I don't find it necessary to create a private issue as realistic as Chatham Islands. Also... very good note designs. Keep 'em coming!

Wwowww that is cool Emp. Oli. Aetheling I'll have to say I don't much care for the post of the day thing. It would really complicate things, why not just have a certain allowance for CoinPeeps? If you want more CP Dollars, sell things!! It's a good way to boost the CP "economy".

I don't know if post counts will correlate with the denomination, but I think the Unk 1 Dollar is great, I was testing the idea. I also like what akdrv said, it would give us slang for CP dollars. i.e. "Send me a few Unks and we have a deal"

Also... after all 5,000 CP dollars are out, the only wait you can get some is to sell something for them. For example... in my shop, a CU 50 Intis note is just three CP dollars.

I thought about changing the amount depending on how many posts one has, but there is just too many factors, so once you reach 25 posts here you can sign up to receive CoinPeople dollars and everyone will get the same amount. If you weren't a member at the old CoinPeople you must wait the 30 days as well... just like the advertising forum. If anybody as any more questions, please ask!

What are CoinPeople Dollars? CoinPeople Dollars are banknotes that will be used as usable exchange units, between qualified CoinPeople.com members. The purpose of this endeavor is to give the CoinPeople.com web forum something very special... its own economy. How do I get CoinPeople Dollars? It might be worth $0.50 now. I don't have the newest Krause. But, inflation stuff doesn't usually do well so it probably either stayed the same or went down in value. Is it in UNC? By the way, just remember that Germany (before the Euro) has always used Marks, Deutsche Marks, Reichsmarks, and briefly used francs for occupied French territories.

I honor ye, good Dutchman. But folding crisp 50 Gulden notes?? Blasphemy!! Those go for FAR over face these days. I paid $50 for mine. I've seen them go for as little as $35 wholesale, and as much as $105 in other places.

Just going to continue Season 3, but I'm going to wait until things cool off before asking for the info that I just can't remember. I'm sure akdrv, stujoe, and tiff are very busy at the moment.

Answering your question about theme collecting... everybody has their own thing, like Tiffibunny's ugly or akward banknote collection, so I'm sure there is too many to list. Good luck with the gun theme collection. I'd go to Ron Wise's site and look around to find more gun notes... if you want to give me a PM I also know where to find the Cuban machine gun note for a good price.
