Hey, F-D; We have the complete 13 piece set of these Comm. medals, in bronze. They were a gift to my son from his Grandfather, who participated in many NASA missions. They were made by a company named Balfour, probably better known for their class rings. The sets were produced in sterling (pricey), bronze, and pewter. Hope this helps. And welcome!

Nice site, I'll like transportation tokens, although I don't have any.
Well, join up, Dan!

Howdy, BooYah. Do I detect Type-set fever?
-
Howdy Gump. For SQ's, your best bet are bankrolls. Where we live, it wouldn't be a stretch to put 80% of a set together in an afternoon. If you're looking for a particular state, send me a PM.
Brasso?....OUCH!
What scool are you attending?

I've had this bookmarked for a couple years now. It's THE site for C.E.C.'s

Cameron has done a great job with his site. He's one of the youngsters
who'll leave his mark on the numis. world.

An interesting picture he has there.
16D... are you saying the coin is Fake? or that he is charging to much?

I'm saying it's been altered. How many of us can say that their 1st ever offering on ebay had a 1/2 mil. starting price?

Looks like something out of a Skittles commercial. Very nice.

I know zilch about these, is there a market for them, and what would be a fair buy price?

"Sorry for the long story but I feel the history or pedigree of a coin is as important as the image posted"
coin+story=1 bitchin' post. Purdy lady!

I had no idea he made his $$ in meteorites.

I think if we all did that, O-coin would be full of license plates.

Recently, pawn shops, hoping to run into familiar pieces.

I've been watching this #1 PCGS CC set for what seems like ages. Just window shopping. Noticed it closed on the 19th with the BIN. Today I noticed it's listed again by Caspercoins. Think someone got cold feet?

Coin and currency dealer Art Kagin is seriously ill with acute lymphocytic
leukemia. Very bad stuff.
Yes, Mich; very bad. Hope him the best. Art has made numis. news through the decades. I remember the headlines when he sold his 1894S Barber dime back in the '70's for $45,000. About 15 years later, the same coin was headlined, getting bumped from an XF to, I think, a PF60. He's been a giant, let's all wish him the best.

"Kryptonitecomics & Collectibles Proudly Presents...another beautiful coin for your bidding & viewing pleasure....."
Truer words never spoken. I've drooled over your coins for years. Always been outbid, though. A buddy of mine got one of your Morgans last year. It's the showpiece of his humble collection. This pic-a-day thing gives me another reason to get outta bed in the morning. Thanks!
How long?
