I return the floor back to you guys. I could keep going on, but I'll wait. Let me add my 1878 when it comes around. And, you get 1 guess which type of coin it will be!

Here's a Proof-only date. The mirrors are gorgeous on this coin. It's very difficult finding this date looking this nice and with these mirrors.

The area around the date is actually some copper alloy coming up through the nickel in the planchet (as struck). I have a very nice 1887 business strike (3CN), but I don't have a great picture of it.

With die clashing, which you almost never see for later dates in this series.

Hey, guys....I can open up the floodgates on this thread but unfortunately it's stopped on the last possible date I DON'T have! I basically don't collect anything after 1889.

I've heard that supposedly there were rolls of them. No one seems to remember anything about them though. I'd guess that it's possible to have a $10 roll of 50. Perhaps it was a shorter roll of 25 ($5).

I returned a Silver Proof Set a couple of years ago. It was a bit of a bumpy ride because the Mint "lost" my return, but I also forgot to use their return label that came from their original package. They made good on everything and even covered my shipping and I got a decent set (the original one had a problem with one of the coins).
