The Castle Artstetten and the Second Republic are some fantastic coins. A lot of detail, thought, and work went into those.

Burks in the words of Beavis... "Are you thrrrrrreatening me?"
Awwww man. Not ANOTHER series I like that you collect!
In the words of Norbert the Angry Beaver: "Spoot"

Does it look similar to this, but with a concave shield? If so, it is a forint from Hungary.
Very similar, I do believe you are correct! Thank you. Has very little wear but I suspect it has been dipped at some time. Lots of little tiny marks that shouldn't show that much. Any idea on the value of these things? After getting this one....there will be many more to come depending on price

You're getting some very nice stuff. Your collection has got to be building beautifully.
Yup! Now I have to catalog and store it all There's two other coins but I need to ID them first.
Edit: First is a 1992 50 Pence proof from Gibraltar, Christmas theme (has Santa on the reverse). Not sure if it is silver or copper-nickel yet.
Second is yet to be determined. The portrait is that of Franz Joseph I, reverse has a shield and 1 Ft. Year is 1887.

Switzerland??? Hmmm... gonna have to kill you....
^^^ The reason those coins are so hard to find
You can pry them from my cold dead hands

Nice going! You're building a very nice collection and quickly too.
Thanks. I've really ventured away from U.S. coins lately. Picking up lots of world coins for the price of one U.S. is nice. Swiss coins are some that I really love but hardly see any for sale. I bought every one the guy had (50% off as well).

And a whole bunch of wheats and a few silvers from Ebay. Haven't sorted through them yet. Dad also gave me a 2006 P and D Kennedy in BU. One of the better struck Kennedy's I've seen.

Found a 1958 D Wheatie in change from the Dollar Tree today.

I like Ike
-
That's the one! Love those breaks.

Blackhawk had posted a large cent with the die crack running between almost all of the stars. Those are spectacular.
I agree. Been looking for them at coin shows but nothing has turned up except really worn ones (G-VG). The cracks were barely visable even under magnification.
-
Do you think the weakness of the 1 on the same coin is due to circulation wear or die wear?
I love the 5's on the 1855. Just look really nice.

Mint sealed box of:
P&D Buffalo (may have an extra roll for sale soon)
P&D Ocean View nickels

Wow!!! Looks like you have been on a buying frenzy.
A little bit. Good deals have been basically falling into my lap.

Mailman came back with a second package, my 1974 Brown Box Ike.
This one has an obverse with brownish/yellow toning around the rims. Reverse has haze.
-
Got my first Brown Box Ike in today, a 1971.
Obverse is nice a clean, little bit of cameo. Reverse is hazy around the rim. Starting to see some blue/green color.
Now will the haze eventually turned into a nice color? Doesn't really bother me if it doesn't, still looks good.
-
Package of 11 different Croatian coins came in today. Very nice.
-
Went to a coin show today.
Picked up a 1962 Franklin BU for $6. Needs a bath to remove some black toning marks.
Also picked up a 2006 SAE for $11.50. This will be my new pocket piece starting first week of March. I'll take pictures 1st day of every month to track the progress. Should be interesting. Goal is a P-G grade using only my pocket.
Also got two dimes for Dad's Stuff.
Edit: Forgot to add in my 2006 Jefferson rolls were delivered to me by my dad today. Along with a Buffalo-D roll. And he snagged me a shotgun roll of Nevada quarters while I was making a deal.
