Sorry, guys- I think somewhere in her later visits Libby must have picked up a curse. Soon after her arrival my daughter developed some neurological problems that kind of took over everything. Smudge is doing okay, but we're still working on figuring out her troubles.
I took a few Libby pics early in her stay, but she recently resurfaced in the bottom of the diaper bag. I'll try to take some more, and get her back on her way before three years is up so I'm at least not the slowest of the slowpokes.
I'll try to get some of the pics I do have up soon.

Go ahead and check in with Bobbycoin or, more likely, elverno. Just as a warning, I do think I'll probably keep her a little longer than ten days because I have a little camping trip I want to take her on towards the end of March. I don't get out and about much lately due to the spawn, so I need a little extra time to get some decent pics .

Smudge is teething on poor Libby! Got her here yesterday.

I can't even remember the last time I found something better than a sorely abused nickel or penny. Hopefully some luck will rub off on me in here.

Yesterday at work I snagged a 20 that was almost a solid serial number... only one wasn't a 2. Oh, well...
-
Is this now a permanent memorial to the poor snakey?
Sure is.
While I have not had an entire day off of work since this went up, I am closing it and sending the whole lot to the brothers for judging. Will let you know tonight.

Didja ever look at a dollar bill, man? There's some spooky s#1+ goin' on there. And it's green too. ---Slater, from Dazed and Confused.

Ah then we are collecting for different reasons i see. You collect for æsthetics and i collect for history.
Collecting banknotes and collecting for history are not mutually exclusive. Collecting for aesthetics and history aren't always, either. You'd probably have a difficult time finding any obsolete coin or currency that wasn't a remnant of something historically interesting.

Certainly not advocating breaking the law in any way, or exposing one's self to 14 years of prison... but the government has never come in and checked out my collection. Just, you know, saying...

I have some counterfeits in my collection that my underlings have accepted at work. They're kind of neat novelty items.
-
lol... due to my inability to specialize in coins, I have items in my collection that span from this year back into B.C.

The lord must be smiling on me today:
kboy and I have been having some difficulties with my post office, can you send my winnings to him as well, that way he and I can be squared away and avoid losing any more items in the mail.
Thanks a bunch!
Been there, done that BiggAndyy! If you and Kboy are ok with that solution, the I am just waiting on his addy.

Prize #4: A '67 Kennedy Half, and some war nickels.
Had to pull 2 slips of paper from Riley's gums, so Kboy and BiggAndyy, addy's please, and you'll both get a #4.
Thanks to everybody who entered!

Er... addy please, Unicorn.

Prize #3: A bicentennial Ike, a bicentennial kennedy half, and a '99 Kennedy half (again, good tips, if nothing else).

Although, at this point, even in the best case scenario I'll likely still bogart Libby through Smudge's first birthday in August. She'll need help smooshing the cake.
Also, for anyone thinking about signing up or hosting her again, just kidding about that whole curse thing.
