Welcome to the site!

I think it may have been made by the Gallery mint as a limited release.
Sometimes you see them for sale on ebay.

Seller with only one feedback rating selling an item for $139,000.00?
Huh?
-
I got a 2005-D cent.
That's special for me because I'm from the East Coast and we never see denver coins out here. Oh, I got it in Texas, land of the D's

New nickel is friggin awesome.
I don't care what anyone says.
HA!

The most I've paid is about $115 for the Buffalo Dollar coin and currency collection. I usually will not shell out that kind of money but I saw it and I fell in love.

there is one thing i find in teresting. the presidential terms when there was no first lady will have liberty on the gold coin. the liberty will be one that circulated on coinage during that presidential term. Has anyone figured out which libertys these would be?

And back to the Sac! They can do better than that.
Hey! I like the Sac!
And I like the idea of sticking the cumbersome phrases on the edge, I thought they should have done that for the sac.
As for the rest...

I avoid 2x2s like the plague, i've had alot of problems with coins turning in them, usually verdigried. I live in a rather humid house. Coins in 2x2s usually start sweating pretty quickly. I saved a few German coins from the 2x2s they were in, they had only been in the house like 2 months and they were sweating away. Winter months aren't too bad, but i used to lose alot in summer.
Since switching to a coin cabinet i seem to have solved the problem. The cabinet manages to maintain it's own environment somehow, the coins are always cold in there no matter how hot it gets. That and i keep the cabinet stored in a cool dark cupboard.
Have you ever tried using silica jell for extra protection? It takes the moisture out of the air and you should be able to get packets at your local supermarket.

I have a whole mix but usually I put the coins worth over $40.00 into plastic capsules for extra protection.
The others get the the cardboard 2x2's

I went with three
They were all awesome but three just was a bump above the rest.
I do have to say the Andy money gave me the biggest smile

Joan's back!
In some instances I will prefer to buy uncirculated or circulated examples of a coin.
I love the way some coins age and wear in their travels and buy them for that reason.

I've seen lots of SGS slabs while trolling around on Ebay.
I know next to nothing about grading and I can tell that they go overboard with the high marks.
The most 70's I've seen on slabbed coins in fact have been on SGS slabs.
This is the most 70's I've ever seen at one time!!!!

yummy!

I wonder if this change has anything to do with the fact that Britain has soldiers operating in a war zone. I sure the government wouldn't want a coin to remind the people of the dangers their loved ones face on a day to day basis.

Here's a little story for you. Patrick (my boyfriend for those that don't know)
Actually, I didn't know.
I thought you were married to Patrick.

Did you find that in the back seat of a Delorean lying next to a copy of Gray's Sports Almanac?

I'm not sure what the one pound coins say, probably something about the queen but it is latin.
The two pound coins celebrate british industry thourgh the ages, hence the Newton quote

Those Canadians made the right choice!
That's definately the best of the three designs.
