Identification Assitance

Recommended Posts

Hi there,

I am new to this forum, so I apologise in advance if I do something wrong.

I am helping my friend catalogue her banknote collection, but one has beaten me and I was hoping someone maybe able to help identify it for me please?

Many Thanks

Darren

Well, I've looked in my knowledge base of stuff, but I certainly can't find it. Perhaps its unlisted, or just hidden really well.

EDIT - I found it!

They are not listed in the usual catalogs, so that's where I was going wrong. I did find them online, though.

This is a 200 Cash banknote from the Yan Tai City Bureau - Year is 27, or 1938.

See this link: Your note is, unfortunately, the one in the rear. http://www.sixbid.com/browse.html?auction=1841&category=37780&lot=1611880
