chinnotes
yes, this is a modern fake, produced to make some money...90% of modern Chinese fake notes are produced by one single person. Erwin
ioan140582
thanks! can you tell me please how can you recognize this?
chinnotes
Your note is monochrome, brownish, but it should be dark violet (or dark purple? my English is not very good and I do not know the difference between purple and violet), with a very light blue underprint. You can see a picture of the real note under www.banknote.ws (China - Peoples Republic, P.812) http://www.banknote.ws/COLLECTION/countries/ASI/CIN/CIN0812.htm Erwin

Steve D'Ippolito
my English is not very good and I do not know the difference between purple and violet), My English is somewhat better, and I will be damned if I know the difference. Though I have seen swatches that do show a difference. If I recall violet has more red color in those cases but my recollection could be wrong. I think most people treat the two words as synonyms.
