Luckycoin
Hello All, I have recently acquired a coin which I believe is a Victorian third farthing minted in 1844. I have attached images of the same along with this post. The coin is 16mm in diameter and appears to be of copper. Does anyone know if this is really a third farthing? Also appreciate if I could know how much it would be worth. Thanks, RP
andyg
16mm is indeed a third farthing, current value from coin yearbook 2010 is £10 in fine condition, but sadly I think yours has spent some time buried in the ground so maybe a few £'s.
