grivna1726
This is not silver. Is it aluminum? Hopefully someone who is more fluent in Russian than I am will provide a reliable translation of the legends.

The seller says: "white metal". I think nickel.
grivna1726
The seller says: "white metal". I think nickel. "White metal" makes more sense than aluminum now that I think about it a bit more. Medals were often struck in white metal because it is a cheap alloy and brilliantly reflective when struck. However, white metal is vulnerable to tin pest, easily corroding and becoming unattractive.
