Commemoration of the founding of hainan province China medal in 1988.One of the rarest chinese medal with broken pearl and extra ring varieties on dragon reverse side.

 

This medal was issued when hainan island officially establish a province in china in 1988.Before that,hainan island was fully under control by guangdong province for hundred of years until 1988.Hainan province is the newest province in china,The rest of the chinese province had been establish very long time ago.

 

This medal was belong to the gavernor of hainan which was my closed relative in hainan island.However,the gavernor gave this medal to my father when he visited hainan province in 1988.My father kept it in his medal collection till now.From what i know,the chinese government did not issue any commemorative gold/silver/copper coin except for this medal and stamps to commemorate hainan establish a province in china in 1988.I think this medal is SUPER RARE becouse nobody knows this medal mintage pieces and value included the gabenor of hainan,his grandson(chinese agriculture minister currently)and the medal specialist from spink auction house.It is becouse I have showed this medal picture to the spink medal specialist and he replied me with this comment"ITs out of our area of expertise"means he never seen before and dont know anything about it at all,unable to auction it for me.Beside that,I have been searching this medal on ebay everyday most of the time for almost 9 years since 2001 and never seen anyone put it up for auction or sell it before except for hainan stamps.I have seen some chinese rarest coins such as 20 ounce 100 mintage 1989,32.5 ounce 200 mintage and also 10kg beijing olyimpic game gold coin only one 2008 were put up on ebay auction and sold before.I believe nobody has this medal in malaysia,singapore,brunei,europe and america side except in china,hainan,guangdong,hongkong maybe a yes.Im still not sure about the mintage and value of this medal but i believe it is one of the CHINESE RAREST MEDAL is in existance.

 

The historical value of this medal is very much higher than any hongkong and macau return to china medal and coins becouse it is a chinese province founded and establish in china but NOT just special admistration region and territory(hongkong and macau).The design of this medal is a huge eager with five torn hill showing on obverse and a huge dragon with surrounding flower showing on reverse.Both eager and dragon look very fierce as a powerfull sign on both side of the medal.It is simply the best of the best design among all of the chinese medal I have ever seen so far.Highly collectible item,it is the great opputunity to own this item,dont miss it.You have a great chance to meet my close relative,the gabenor grandson-chinese agriculture miniter if you get this item from me.
