kanga
My real name is Dave and I've bee collecting on and off for more than 50 years. I got really serious about it starting around 1971 when my wife bought me a Brown Box Ike. I laid off about 1980 when the market blew through the roof, but restarted around 1990. Since then I've refined my collecting interests. I had a King George VI collection of Britain and Commonwealth probably 80-90% complete. It's since been sold off. I had a worldwide birthyear collection probably 90+% complete. It's since been sold off. My interest is now totally US to 1964 with the exception of the state quarters. My pride and joy is my US type set. It's complete from the early 1800's to 1964 EXCEPT one SL dime. I'm trying for XF or better but 2-3 VF's snuck in. Oh, and the MCMVII High Relief St G is missing and will probably be forever. I have a number of other complete sets of various grades depending on how I felt about the issue. For instance my Lincolns are complete XF or better (except the 1922 Plain which is Fine). But my WL's range from Good to MS. I don't really have a Mercury collection. Nor a SLQ set. So you can see I jump around a bit. I'm here mostly to learn, but hope I can also contribute a bit.

bill
Welcome. You sound like a true collector and most of us your age have also jumped around and dropped in and out with the economy. You've found more than a few kindred souls.
kanga
Welcome, Dave! I can't wait to see pics Just ask for what you'd like to see. I have imaged most of the significant stuff. "Show all" is not an option. Way too many pics.
