coccoin Posted January 24, 2009 Report Share Posted January 24, 2009 Hello all I can not seem to find a source for this coin (if it is a coin). I can't tell if the coat of arms is British or Irish or another Georgivs III teritory or posession. It is rather worn and may be an altered piece or a medal although I do not see how it would have hung around a ribbon. It appears to be all copper. Any help is appreciated. mrdelmonti Posted May 13, 2009 Report Share Posted May 13, 2009 The coin looks very similar to British India coinage, such as Anna's, but its about 100 years older than the first British India coins, so I guess that rules that out.
