macarenses
Arnold Zadikow (1884-1943) was a Jewish sculptor who worked in many mediums: silver, stone, glass and metals. He died in 1943 in the Theresienstadt ghetto. I have 7 bronze medals from the WWI period that came from one source: a Jewish family that fled Berlin in 1939 and until now had maintained possession of the medals. Like Ludwig Gies, Zadikow trained in Munich and was a pupil of Heinrich Wadere. I have lots of information on the web about his life but none of it about his art medals. I do not know if he did more medals than these 7 for example. Can anyone help?
