macarenses Posted October 13, 2008 Report Share Posted October 13, 2008 Ludwig Gies, bronze medal, satirizing America's supposed neutrality during the years before they joined the war. The medal shows a gigantic and monstrous creature, wearing Uncle Sam's top hat and laden with guns and money, sailing past the skyscrapers of Manhatten.
