sturzny
Polish silver coin from the late 16th century. The arms are of the house of Vasa and the ruler I believe is Sigismund III - the legend on the obverse reads: SIGIS(mund) D(ei) G(ratia) REX P(oloniae) M(agnus) D(ux). These coins are generally quite common although there are many varieties, some of which may be scarce. I'll leave any additional details to an expert in early Polish silver, which I am not. sgard
Poland 3 polker or 1/24 thaler. there are some difference in weight. Perhaps from 1641. It is hard to see numbers near circle with 1/24, if coin is not in vertical position on picture.
