The Collectorama Coin and Currency Show will be held at the Lakeland

Center, 701 West Lime (just west of downtown), Lakeland, Florida. The

show will be larger than last October by about 10% and with red hot metals

markets, and extremely strong coin and currency markets, the show is

expected to be very strong. The show is open Friday and Saturday from

10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Bring this notice for

FREE ADMISSION, and tell the folks at the parking lot booths you are

coming in for Collectorama and you will get FREE PARKING. Hourly door

prizes, and all kids 12 or under get a daily dip into the Kid's Bucket for a

Free Handfull of Money. Dealers and guests keep the bucket loaded up for

the kids (including some gold coins), with all kinds of numismatic goodies

including at least 10 Two Cent and Three Cent pieces, some seated dimes

and quarters, and at least a dozen Columbian Expo Half Dollars. If you are

going to attend bring some stuff along for the kids.

Lakeland is located just about 30 miles or so between Orlando and Tampa.

Take I-4 to Rt. 98 and go south a few miles. Rt. 98 will turn to the left, you

go straight on S. Florida Avenue and when you get to downtown watch for

the Lakeland Center signs. Very easy to find. The show is in the main

Exhibit Hall (Northwest corner). Plenty of parking all around the facility.

As a big plus, Collectorama also has some great Paper Americana,

Postcards, Historical Documents, Autographs, and other Neat Collectibles.

The show is mostly Coins and Currency with dealers available for Precious

Metals buys and sells, as well as a wide range of numismatic items. There

will also be a supply dealer at the show, and the United States Postal

Service will be on hand to handcancel a special Souvenir Card depicting a

neat Confederate Note.

Collectorama is a show for the entire family, and attending dealers urge

guests to bring along any type of Numismatic or Neat Collectibles they want

to sell.

This is the 44th Semi-Annual Collectorama Show and we hope you will attend.
