arneman
I received some German banknotes from 1923 (I think). Now I know the entire history behind this notes (inflation and such) but I would like some more information about the notes. There are numbers and codes on it, wich I cannot seem to find on the Internet, anyone? Here's a list: 20 Millarden Mark Coded YZ-12 and numbered 001412 on October 1th 1923 (Berlin) 1000 Mark Numbered 843745, it has an E in the upper left corner and CD in the upper right. It's dated on September 15th 1922 (Berlin) 1 Million Mark Numbered 530317, dated Juli 20th 1923 (Aachen) 100 Millionen Mark Numbered 316849, it says Serie B in the upper left corner and it's dated 20th Juli 1923 (Aachen) 20000 Mark Coded Q-BD and numbered 116112 on ... 20th 1923 (Berlin) I am most interested in what those letters mean (fe Q-BD, YZ-12,...), I'll have scans online pretty soon.
