akdrv
A new issue of the BGN 20 banknote, with enhanced security features, goes into circulation on Monday. At first sight, the new bills appear just as the banknotes issued in 1999, with the main changes being the updated signature of the BNB governor, a fluorescent image and a slightly different watermark. Both issues will be used in parallel and the central bank has no plans to remove the old bills out of circulation. The BGN 20 denomination bills are the most used ones in Bulgaria and wear out the fastest, prompting BNB to print a replacement issue. http://www.novinite.com/view_news.php?id=87409
