84 double ear lincoln ?

Recommended Posts

The double ear variety (in both 1984 and 1997 cents) are the variety I want the most of all the lincoln cents... mostly because you can find them in circulation.

No, those don;t look like winners. You'd be able to tell readily.

Ok, thanks. I was talking about the 1984 double ear #2 though, if you were talking about the #1. The second double ear is a lot less dramatic, the second ear is right below the primary ear lobe. It probably isn't, guess i'm spending too much time looking through the 16X.

touche, my friend. I need to brush up on my varieties then.

If you are most interested in the double ear variety you got to get both ear varieties for your collection LOL. Hope i havent caused you to want to look through all of your coins for the #2. But, if you dont know about it, the ways to find it is: there is a second earlobe slightly south of the primary and you can see that the chin is doubled. The listing #s are:

Potter: VCR#3/DDO#3

Wexler: WDDO-008

It is worth less than the #1, the #1 is about $250 for a uncirculated while the #2 is only about $100 uncirculated but thats ok with me $100 in my pocket.
