akdrv
TORONTO (CP) - Canada will soon have new anti-counterfeiting teams to crack down on a crime that, if left unchecked, could affect the value of the Canadian dollar, Public Safety Minister Stockwell Day said Monday. It's an important step in the fight against serious economic crimes such as the illegal copying of Canadian bank notes, he said. "People are hurt by this criminal activity," Day said. "Individuals are hurt; small business, larger business. Counterfeiting, if unchecked, can begin to reflect on the currency of the nation." http://www.canada.com/topics/news/national...100&k=42828
