akdrv
Kanchipuram, Jan 27: The Boazang silver coins issued by the Quain dynasty of China in 1793 which were discovered from Tibet proved the long-standing interaction between both the countries, Curator of China Numismatic Museum, Dr Zhang Wuyi said today. Attending the two-day 17th annual conference of the South Indian Numismatic society, which got underway here today, he claimed that it also proved that Tibetan currency was part of Chinese currency and that the former never had an independent currency. The conference is also attended by coin collectors from countries like the UK and Sri Lanka. http://www.chennaionline.com/colnews/newsi...ATEGORYNAME=CHN
