Andrey5
I have this AE (brass?) item with the title and coat of arms of Clement IX on reverse and words Dobla d'Italia on obverse. Unfortunately, my item has a hole in it. It weights 6,7 g (probably was 7 g before the hole was made) and is 22,5 mm in diameter. Clement IX was Pope between 1667 and 1669. There was no such coin as Dobla in Italy at that time, but I suspect that this is a coin weight for Doule Scudo gold coin, which weights 7 g. Could anybody confirm my supposition or am I wrong?
