Vfox
I am looking for a set of Unc Zambian Kwacha notes. As far as I know it starts with the 1 kwacha note and goes up to something like 50,000 kwacha, correct me if I'm wrong on this PLEASE! Anyway I am looking to get a set of the newer design with the large eagle on the right of the note (2004-2006 I think). The current exchange rates are: Wednesday, August 30, 2006 1 US Dollar = 4,131.18 Zambian Kwacha 1 Zambian Kwacha (ZMK) = 0.0002421 US Dollar (USD) So that would be: 50,000 ZMK for $13.37 20,000 ZMK for $5.35 10,000 ZMK for $2.67 5,000 ZMK for $1.37 1,000 ZMK for $0.27 500 ZMK for $0.13 100 ZMK for $0.03 50 20 10 5 1 And 1-50 at so $0.03 conversion rate. Thats a total of $23.22 exchange rate. So, that is obviously the base price, and I understand everyone has to make a couple bucks. If anyone has a offer for the cost, please PM me asap. Also, if this starts at a different value that 1 Kwacha, please let me know, as I can only find the 20zmk-50,000zmk listed. Thanks, Vfox

Vfox
Were you looking to buy the 2 polymer notes in the series as well?KFC I'm not sure what a "polymer" note is, is it kind of like a plastic/paper note? If it has the same design as the normal notes though, then yes, I would like to complete an entire set of them. Thanks, Vfox
superbeast1098
A polymer note is made from plastic instead of paper. Its usually the same dimensions as the paper notes in the same series. You can tell a polymer note by the way it feels, and because most of them have a clear or colored window in them as a security feature. Check out tthese polymer notes from my collection http://www.banknotebank.com/coin_view.aspx?id=902018 http://www.banknotebank.com/coin_view.aspx?id=902011 http://www.banknotebank.com/coin_view.aspx?id=902005 And the 2 Zambia polymer notes..... http://www.banknotebank.com/coin_view.aspx?id=902007 http://www.banknotebank.com/coin_view.aspx?id=902006 Hope this helps. Vfox
The 2 from Zambia are up for sale.... PM me with an offer for both notes if you want them. I have no clue what the notes are worth other than exchange, and I don't want to offer some insignificant amount, so feel free to PM a price!
