gxseries
A die crack is just the state of the die starting to expire / useless. I don't think it's either variety or error, except since it's a proof coin, such die cracked coins should have been pulled out during inspection. errorist
Since the die crack changes on every strike. They should be varieties!
gxseries
Would die wears be considered as varities too? I remember someone in this board tried to submit on the PCGS registry under error, but was rejected.
errorist
I would say no since the progression of the die crack occurs more rapidly than just normal die wear!
