Does anyone know if these types of finds ever make it into the hands of collectors--I have a decent collection of uncleaned ancient coins and would like to get my hands on some of these. Each country has its own laws regarding finds, but in England it is likely that a portion of the hoard will be up for sale. It is unlikely you'd get the coins uncleaned, usually the bigger dealers would get the whole lot and they would then clean and sell the pieces, or this could happen even before the coins are ever sold.
