I love large notes! They are so big, and I try to imagine a transaction being made with them, wondering where and how a shopkeeper or vendor would have kept them - a till with a big drawer I suppose. or very large pockets for very large wallets. I always seem to think of an over the top comical sketch like one from Carol Burnette or Monty Python.

Yeah, that's right and I really think what large they must have wallets in this time

Baxuss - Nice note! Have you any other info on it - Where's it from, etc? I agree with you that it looks like a printers test. This era of chinese notes has more to it that meets the eye as I've found out. The notes are often more interesting than what they seem at first.

Hey Dave! About info only that this note is from a Private Bank...I'm searching for infos for this note but this is not easy When i got any information I post them.

China 10 Diao, Private bank, about 1920.
