  1. There is a website called allcoinvalues which gives some information on British coins from 1802 to 1967, I find it invaluable as I collect pennies, ha'pennies and farthings, and most are with pictures.
  2. Hi I was wondering if any one has come across a 1965 and a 1962 penny with what looks to be frosting on them, the weight on both is 8.8g, (which is under I know) diameter is 31mm and 30mm respectively, and the thickness is 1.5mm on both, I have supplied some images, hopefully someone can shed some light on this. Many thanks in advance
  3. yes it is usual for that era ,it is called coin alignment, if it was the same way up it is called medal alignment as most of the modern coins now are
