  1. Hi all,

I believe these reference books are for German shooting medals, but does anyone know where I might be able to locate copies of these books:

Steulmann, Gert:  Die Schützenmedaillen und Abzeichen der deutschen und österreichischen Bundesschießen von 1861-1934 und 1880-1908.

Slg. Peltzer, R.F.:  I. Freimaurermedaillen und -zeichen. II. Schießmünzen und Schützenmedaillen, Jagdmünzen und -medaillen. III. Verkehr.

    Thanking you in advance,

    Stay safe and healthy everyone,

    Matt

  2. Yes,  very happy to get the 1914 Luzern, especially in that condition.  I assume it's true for you as well, but it's very, very rare (and lucky) when I am able to find anything in such nice condition.

I also really like most Ticino pieces.  I think Ticino has some of the most beautiful shooting medals, but so hard to come by.  I'd love it if you could share anything you have.  Especially if it is some of the older medals, which I never get to see except in Richter's book.

    Hi,

I believe the new Richter catalog will be published near the end of March.

I will be selling copies of the new Richter catalog. Please let me know if you have interest. I will keep everyone posted on availability and cost.

Thank you for the prompt response.  I'm absolutely interested.  I'll being awaiting any updates you have.

  4. Hi Rod and all,

I'm new to the thread, but have been collecting Swiss shooting medals for several years now.  I'm anxiously awaiting the release of Richter's revised edition.  Rod, do you know where or how I might be able to purchase one (or two) of these books once it is released?

Rod, I love being able to see some of your collection.  It's terrific.  Thank you for sharing.
