Thanks Dave. Stamps appear on several different notes, ranging from 10 yen all the way up to 1000 yen and several different generations. This is done after WWII to revalidate pre-war notes to be used as new currency until they have printed sufficient new notes. From my understanding stamped 200 and 1000 yen notes are almost impossible to find.
