Just saw this, really nice tokens.
-
The Scandinavian languages; Norwegian, Swedish and Danish.
-
Love both, keep them coming.
-
Welcome !
I am not very familiar with English Hammered Coins, an introduction with pictures would be very nice.
-
I am really desperate to get this medal soon.
REWARD: If you know somebody owning this medal in good condition and is interested in selling it for a good price I will give you US$ 50 if there is a deal, transferring via PapPal.

PS: Is the fantastic website http://blackwatch.napoleonicmedals.org gone?

I guess the second half of the set will take considerably more time.
-
Almost forgot this one, here i Aboukir:
-
The same 5 pound note was in use from 07.06.1990 until 21.11.2003. So you will find it with signature from all the chief cashiers in this period.
-
It is not a coin. It is a medal over president Ulysses S. Grant.
There is one for sale on eBay for US$ 8:
-
Thanks!
I just found pictures of the box:
And I also picked up the medal commemorating Aboukir (pics will follow).
Think I also need to pick up my own copy of BHM soon (at least volume I).
-
I just picked up a small english medal concerning the Battle of Copenhagen in 1801.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Copenhagen_(1801)
It is in a fantastic condition.
Does anybody has a reference to this medal? I guess it it listed in the three volume catalogue of Bramsen, but unfortunately I only have the last two volumes which covers the period from 1810 and forward.

Happy birthday!!!
Hope you have a great time with the family, which is much more worth than a coin collection.
-
Hope to see you here again soon.

A picture will help...

Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee!
Rest in Peace.

Haven't we all had the feeling that collecting is pointless and thought about quitting. Especially when you meet larger or smaller crisis in life.
But we always come back. Once a collector always a collector.
-
You have been missed. Its good you are back.
-
Impressing. Loved to read it.
-
I love conder tokens, and have considered starting a collection for several years. But I need to learn more first, so thanks for the link.
-
Totally agree, coinpeople.com is far better. You will find lot of nice and competent people and it is possible to find the information for years to come.
-
If someone has a reference to any of these medals (except Bergsøe) I would be very happy.
No one?
-
If it is a reliable seller I dont need the slab.
-
Well, a slab is not a guarantee anymore: http://www.coinworld.com/news/world-coins/2015/11/california-dealer-discovers-fake-krugerrand-in-fake-holder.html#
