No, I have looked now and then but I'm not planning on selling my three, so I haven't paid close attention. Everyone says they will drop after this wave - I'm sure they will dip some, but I'm not so sconvinced that they'll go to the cellar as some insist.

Update: checked again and my gold order 42927xxx, which hit my credit card on the 28th, was shipped today, June 3rd.

My order has been sitting at 6/30 for weeks but today they hit my credit card for the gold BHOF's and the status has suddenly changed to "In stock and reserved" - I hope that means they are shipping soon!

Ayup. And "coins" with thermometers, or shaped like maps or that fold up into boxes..
-
They are numismatic items because wealthy and powerful people bought and sold them as such, sealing their pedigree forever. This is political reality.

Too much trouble, sorry. Oh, well.

I was just about to upload a picture of a capped bust half I bought recently but I see "You have exceeded your allotted disk space for attachments" Is that because I haven't been here very long or is it some other limitation??

I've never been entirely clear on that. This http://www.so-calleddollars.com/Events/Continental_Dollars.html would imply yes, but other coins restruck by Bashlow were made from copies of dies.

This 1855 is special to me because it is the only coin I kept from the collection I inherited in the 1950's.

This is a badly beat up 1816. 1816 was "The Year without a summer" ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Year_Without_a_Summer). I like this coin in spite of its condition because it has so much character. Imagine how many hands it passed through, how many times it bounced on a store counter or jingled in the pocket of someone riding horseback on some urgent errand.

Yes, that does make it interesting. I hope they don't start pumping out a lot of weird stuff after this, though.
-
Thank you. I'm never satisfied with it, but I keep trying.

I got back my Baseballs from PCGS today and was happy to find a new storage box - other people have got their slabs back in the normal boxes, which they cannot fit into properly. They don't rattle either I imagine they'll be in the PCGS store soon.

Color and surfaces look wrong.
