Good morning. I had a restful night of sleep and a lovely breakfast consisting of a ham and swiss omelet on rye, garnished with baby purple (red) onions and cherry tomatoes from my garden. This was topped off by the morning medicines and a marvelous cup of Earl Grey. I am now ready to face a day of scramblin' and rescrambling letters. I have devised a method BY USING MY BRAIN and if I win I will share it with you. Okay, I'll share now...I got out my scrabble board and am mixing the letters around. It's a lot easier than the pencil and paper method or the blank database I set up on my computer to scramble letters back and forth. Good luck to all--we can do this!!!

In this life, it is said, that all of us have only enough true friends to count on the fingers of one hand.

Those who have not had a pet as a member of their family do not understand why pet owners are able to count more fingers.

A pet can be a confidante when you have a secret you can't trust a human with.

A pet can show sympathy without saying a word.

A pet can bring you joy with their antics and interacting with you.

Venna has done all of these things and many more and we feel proud to count her as a friend.

She will be missed but remembered fondly.
