They are both beautiful coins with flawless art, but the medal is reminiscent of the lovely European designs that I'm so fond of. Sorry ikaros, but I have to give my vote to it.

Two examples of 1916 French coins. 1f. And a 30c.

I found a 1971 new penny with an extremely deep rim. I don't know how it happened.

Most of us have kept at least one.They maybe cull but we love em.
Mine is a 1832 capped bust half dime and a 1954 seated half dime.
And just so y'all know, I wouldn't get rid of either, they started my love affair with smalls.

Its approximately the same. And thanks I didn't know about them. I have just recently got excited with the smalls whenplaying with my magnifying glass

I never knew the direction was change of monarch,thank you geordie. That answers something that I had often wondered.

And now I know why so many are holed.

I for one am not bothered by holes, I collect for my enjoyment and keep culls as well as nice coins. As long as it is appealing to my eyes, one makes me as happy as the other. I have multiple coins of some and steadily hunting what I don't have.
