Appreciate the information ccg but £5 or so?
This was given to my mother by a person she cared for and, As I was told was found "in a golden ceramic casing", which leads me to believe it may be worth more?
Regards.
I have bow uploaded the coin to my collection on omnicoin.com. The reference of the coin is George IV British coin.
I would say it was just over 2 center meters.
Information on this would be appreciated.
Regards.
I have a gold coin of my mothers here which states:
Front:
GEORGIUS IV DEI GRATIA 1826 (The image looks like a Greek middle aged man).
Rear:
BRITANNIARUM REX FIDEI DEFENSOR (The image appears to be a lion stood on a crown with flowers underneath).
Much apprciated.
